FAQs

Q?

Why should I use your services when I have the internet at my disposal?

A.

The internet is a great tool for looking for vacation options; however there are so many options that it can be overwhelming. After speaking with you for a few minutes we can take those vast amount options and narrow them down based on your answers to some specific questions. Our knowledge of the destinations allows us the ability to focus on your needs and match you with the perfect trip. Plus there’s more to a trip than booking a flight and hotel. Arranging the right guides, the most convenient transfers and the most exclusive restaurant tables requires insider knowledge and relationships. Travel advisors will also suggest places to visit that you would never have the time to research on your own.

Q?

How do you collect your service fee or commission?

A.

LG Retreats receive commissions on most transactions from the travel business to which we direct clients. You receive the same price for the vacation package you book with us as you would if you booked it yourself.  In many cases, we can find discounts and other promotional offerings that you might not know about. However there are times when we do have to charge a fee for example, flight only bookings, some Europe itineraries, and condo/rental properties. If this is the case we will notify you upfront so there are no surprises once everything is booked.

Q?

Do I have to pay for my vacation in full at the time of booking?

A.

No, unless you are within 60 days of travel as some vendors require full payment if traveling less than 60 days out. Otherwise you will pay a deposit, which will be stated on your final quote and then the final payment will be anywhere from 45-60 days prior to travel. We keep track of all the dates and will send you a reminder a week prior to the due date so you don’t have to remember when it is due!
