The internet is a great tool for looking for vacation options; however there are so many options that it can be overwhelming.  After speaking with you for a few minutes we can take those vast amount options and narrow them down based on your answers to some specific questions. 

Our knowledge of the destinations allows us the ability to focus on your needs and match you with the perfect trip.  Plus there’s more to a trip than booking a flight and hotel. Arranging the right guides, the most convenient transfers and the most exclusive restaurant tables requires insider knowledge and relationships. Travel advisors will also suggest places to visit that you would never have the time to research on your own.

LG Retreats receive commissions on most transactions from the travel business to which we direct clients. You receive the same price for the vacation package you book with us as you would if you booked it yourself.  

In many cases, we can find discounts and other promotional offerings that you might not know about.  However, there are times when we do have to charge a fee, for example, flight only bookings, some Europe itineraries, and condo/rental properties.  If this is the case we will notify you upfront so there are no surprises once everything is booked.

This question really has to be answered by the traveler, but we recommend it. No matter how healthy you or other family members may be, the unexpected can happen. In that event, are you content to lose money? 

Trip protection helps you recover some of those losses and also protects you during the course of your vacation, should something happen while you are on it. Policies are offered by most tour operators and there are also independent companies offering policies when can direct you too. The plans can vary some in terms of coverage, so it’s important to review conditions and policies carefully to find one that meets your needs and we can help you with this.

No, unless you are within 60 days of travel as some vendors require full payment if traveling less than 60 days out.  Otherwise you will pay a deposit, which will be stated on your final quote and then the final payment will be anywhere from 45-60 days prior to travel.  We keep track of all the dates and will send you a reminder a week prior to the due date so you don’t have to remember when it is due!

Any time you are traveling outside the United States you will need a passport except for Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Island (St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix).

Yes, any US Citizen leaving the country needs a passport and you can find the information on the website above.  Remember when applying for a passport for children under 16 both parents or legal guardian’s must be present when applying or have signed a notarized document showing legal consent.

Yes, most of the time a credit card is the preferred method of payment.  However, some vendors, such as rental properties, only take a check or wire transfer.

We understand that frequent flyers points can be an important part of a journey you have planned. We are happy to discuss with you the best ways to use your points during a journey. Redeeming your frequent flyer points is a simple process. However, if you would like us to make the reservation on your behalf there may be a charge.

We are available 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday but are happy to meet outside business hours by appointment in order to suit your needs.  

We are on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week for urgent travel and for support when travelling overseas.
